Chapter 11
Mariko decides to pass on the meeting with Shuu to take part on Akindo first opening, but her nice enthusiasm is dampened by the Akindo newest member, Ayumi. After the members of the Akindo have left Mariko's place, she has a quarrel with her brother, because Shintaro thinks that she should take more seriously her relationships. Yuusuke takes Ayumi home with his motrbike and praise her to forget Mariko because "despite all she's a nice girl"

The day after Yuusuke gives a calcium bar to Mariko on which he has written: "If you feel better, what about a date next week?"
And later, Ayumi tells to Mariko that she won't interfere with her and Yuusuke, but Mariko replies: "You lie, you like Yuusuke, don't you?". Ayumi admits she does likes Yuusuke, but she tells to Mariko that Yuusuke thinks that Body-ko's only using him as her private chauffeur. Mariko is sad for the way the others see her, but she doesn't now how to change herself.

Chapter 12: Akindo's Grand Opening
Despite Mikako's fears, the sunday of the Akindo's opening is a happy sunny day, and all the group leaves to the Flea Market.
There, everyone succesfully sell the things done for the market, everyone except from Mikako, who has only made dresses of her size. Hamada-sensei tells her that a designer cannot choose the target of his products and encourages her to try again.

Meanwhile Yuusuke go looking for Mariko who has disappeared; Mariko tells to Yusuke that she thinks she'll not feel any better. Yuusuke tells her to stop picking on Ayumi anyway, and she replies, to softly to be hear, "who do you think is making me act like this?"

Back at the Akindo, Midori (main character of "Tenshi ni Nanka Janai") makes a cameo appereance with Akira (from the same manga) and she buys a winged backpack from Mikako, making her feel really better.

Chapter 13: Double Birthday
Mikako and Tsutomu were born with only 2 days of distance and now it's their birthday.
The Akindo are together into Ayumi's garage, and they plan to transform it into their atelier.
Body-ko finds Yuusuke waiting for her outside the school, and they go out for a date. At the end of the night, they kiss.

Ruriko asks to Mikako wants she would like to have for her birthday, and she answers a Mac, but she has a secret desire in her heart, which is related with her father. During the party, Mikako and Tsutomu get the computer, but Mikako ends the chapter thinking: "Dad, I've turned 17 ..."

Chapter 14: Papa
[Note: Papa is the japanese confidential word for "dad"]
Tsutomu and Mikako walk home together (as their parents are still drinking at the Parrot) and he gives her his present: a photo locket.
Mikako too gives him her presents: a Happy Berry handmade shirt, (that she takes back again because it has to be graduate by Hamada-sensei) and the scooter key.

Mikako would like to keep a photo of her father into the locket but her mother has trown away all of them when they divorced and Mikako has never forgiven her for this.

The next day, at school, Yuusuke and Body-ko get off with their arms around each other, and Ayumi can't bring herself to congratualete.

Mikako incidentally starts to cry while thinking of her father, and Tsutomu grants her secret wish by giving her a photo of her father taken from one of Tsutomu's albums.

Chapter 15: the Meeting
Tsutomu and Mikako decide to pay a visit at Hirohiko's gallery, and Mikako signs the guestbook as "Mikako Sakurada" because she wants her father to know that she's still her daughter. When Hirohiko sees Mikako's sign he goes looking for her and finally those two can spend dome time together.
Meanwhile Ruriko too is paying a visit to the gallery ...
