Side Story: Colorful
The side story evolves around Mikako and her classmate Seto when they were at middle schools. It tells on how Mikako has made Seto's life colorful. Special appereance by Shuuichi Tagigawa from "Tenshi Nanka Janai"

Chapter 21: The Sparkling Alien
The Akindos finish their atelier, just before the school start and they are all planning what they'll do for the school festival. While returning she finds that her mother is searching for an assistant; at home it turns out that her mother has a new assistant: Kisaragi Seiji, who Mikako suddenly renames the sparkling alien (kira-kira seiji has a sound similar to kisaragi seiji) Although in the very beginning she doesn't like him, she comes to like him, maybe because he's graduated at YazaGaku

Chapter 22: Afternoon Mera-mera girl
For the festival Mikako grouped with her classmates Nonchan, Shimamoto, Haru and P-chan; they decide that their theme will be le maries, or wedding dresses.

Tsutomu meets Seiji and warns him to not hurt Mikako or Ruriko.

Ayumi declares her love to Yusuke by writing him a letter.

In the afternoon Mikako and Tsutomu plan to cut afternoon classes but the end up fighting because Mikako feels guilty for cutting classes and Tsutomu is angry because she let Seiji make her hair that morning.
Because of Mikako's delay, Hamada-sensei assigns 100 style drawings for the next day to the whole Mikako's group.

[H's note: In my opinion, Mikako's dress and haircut of this chapter are the best of all the manga]

Chapter 23: Life
Mikako feels sorry for the Hamada-sensei's punishment, but the other try to cheer her up, and Risa sends her a nice message on Mikako's pocket bell.

The next, after the school Mikako and Tsutomu make up, but when Mikako leaves, Tsutomu's face looks unhappy again. Meanwhile, Mariko tells to Yuusuke that she decided to drop the school: "So we won't able to see no more. Take care. And thank you for all."

Tsutomu tells to Tsutomu about his relationship with Tokumori at Blue Parrot. It ends up that he tells that he's tired of being Mikako's strung.
Meanwhile, Mikako fantazises about her wedding while making the dress for the fashion show.
Chapter 24: Festival
It's the first day of the Festival and Tsutomu is the official photographer. Tokumori, remembering what Tsutomu told him about Mikako, is surprised to see the two kissing.

Meanwhile, Hamada-sensei asks to Seiji to take Mikako with him to London because she's highly sure that Mikako will win the first prize.

In another part of the school, Mariko is looking to Yuusuke's picture and asks to Ayumi to take care of him.
