Chapter 30: Resolution
[H's note: I'm not sure about the title of this chapter. I used the translation of the italian title but I found a site that has as title of this chapter "Ketsui Hyoumei". I am sure that mine it's mistaken, and if so, gomen nasai.]
Ruriko finds out that she's three month pregnant, and she get's back together with her husband, Hirohiko.
Tsutomu tells Mikako that she should be happy to get the chance to make her dream come true and that no one would ever wear clother designed by a tragic heroine.
Mikako decides to go to London.

No one of Mikako friends is acting like they'll miss her, they are too concened about the rumor that Gokinjo Monogatari is going to end soon.
Yuusuke wants to be the hero in Gokinjo Monogatari 2.

It's the new year eve and Mikako, her parents and Seiiji are havenig lunch together. After lunch Ruriko asks to Seeiji to go out and buy some rubber for her. At the market Seiiji meets Tsutomu who asks him to make sure that Mikako doesn't feel lonely in London, but not to raise an hand on her. Seiiji laughs and tells to Tsutomu that he's not interested in girls, shocking Tsutomu.

Chapter 31: Akindo's last day.
.. actually, it's last day only for Mikako.

Hirohiko's has given many oppurtunities to Tsutomu and Yuusuke derides him; but Ayumi starts to say how wornderful were Tsutomu's photos he has made at the festivals. As Yuusuke leaves because he's jealus, Ayumi follows him.
Ayumi suggests that they go to extra classes, in preparation of fine-arts college. Yuusuke says that he's already subscribed, and that's not because of art.

Back to the Akindo, Non-chan, Shinonata and Haru shows up wearing the clothes Mikako has made for them, and after a while, Tsutomu and Mikako's parents together with Noriji, Seeiji, Toku and his fiance'e, appear.
Seiji compliments Pii-chan on her stuffed animals, and she gets a nosebleed and instantly decides that she's found her prince at last. Mikako and Tsuomu tell her to give up because he's a ... "a gay", says Tsutomu; ".. an alien", says Mikako.
While they argue, P-chan thinks: "A superpowered prince-gay-alien.. how wonderful!".

Back at the atelier, Mariko is waiting for the other and she has organized a party for Mikako. Mikako asks to Jiro to make her see his eyes before she leaves, and he let only her to see them.
Then, they all take a group picture.
Mikako says: "I feel like the introduction to my life is ending. The real battle starts now."

Last Chapter: Long Distance Story
A day in Mikako's London life. I't been six months since she left Japan, but she's not living alone. Every morning Seiiji comes to meet her every morning.
They have a rule that they have to pay a fine if they speak Japanese to each other.
Mikako attends the London Amazing School of Design, and she has many good friends (in the underground scene, there's a cameo appereance of another character from "Ai Tenshi ni Nanka ja nai" - Mamirin).
In the afternoon she writes two letters: one is for her parents and Miwako - her little sister -, the other is for Mariko.
Mariko tells in her letter that she broke up with Shuu, because "in truth, Mikako, I still can't forget Yuusuke".
Mikako feels sorry and write her a reply.

Later, she's at the park and she meets .. Tsutomu? No, he's Ken Nagakawa of the Mambo but Mikako feels overwhelmed.

During the dinner, Seiiji tells Mikako that, only for that night, she can cry if she wants, Mikako replies that she's all right now.

In Japan Noriji and Tsutomu enter a contest to win a trip to London, but they loose.
Mariko gets Mikako's postcard, which says: "Don't give up Mariko, you're more pneumatic than everybody!"
Tsutomu and Hirohiko leave for London.

In the very end, Mikako says: "I don't want an happy ending, I want an happy mind!"

Gokinjo Monogatari Rebirth
The story is placed seven year after the end of the previous chapter, and it explains how the main characters are living. Mikako and Tsutomu are married and they are waiting their first child; Risa and Takeshi sre married too, and they have a son, of the same age of Miwako, called Arashi.
Hiroaki and Michiyo are married since Mikako left for London, and they have a son; his name is Hiroyuki.
Mariko and Shu have a son of four years, Yuusuke and Ayumi are recently married and they are waiting their first baby.
