Do you know what's happiness for Hikaru? To randomly surf the net and find high quality scans of the Asuka's latest color pages. Yeah. This is a nice day. ^_^
OH MY DEAR GOD! You have a new SHOCKING layout. ^^; Both me and Yota-san are shocked - and I'm stll trying to read the sidebar! 0_o You have a deal for special & strange layouts, you know? ^^;
Zee - I meant the first. (why the hell I cannot be clear as I would?) Anyway, I watched the the entire series and the movies 7 or 8 times - so I think I can tell. It's not that I didn't liked the films, but in my heart there always will be that scene of "normal life" - as we call it - in the last two episodes(which is really cute, isn't it?). It's something like: "I would really love to have a normal life, with normal parents, with friends and so on", which (in my opinion) is the same desire of Shinji in the end of the second movie.
I totally agree with you when you say the the movies were meant to be. They were for sure, and that's why the two final episodes made me angry .. really really angry. (in my mind it sounds like: "Well, let's do some more moneys using Evangelion" - couldn't they split the second movie in two episodes and end like that?)
So, my reason to like much more the last two episodes is only for that special sequence. But if we talk only about the end of Evangelion .. well, that's the second movie.

Which means ... that every other one who hasn't seen the series, is going to be really angry about the last two episodes. ^^ But I have to say that after I watched the films, I prefer the anime ending. If you can even use the word "ending" for those episodes.
